More original Xbox games might be coming sooner than we anticipated

Recently, Microsoft has been reviving classic original Xbox games onto the Xbox One due to high demands from fans. With Phantom Dust and VooDoo Vince already brought back from the dead, if these games prove to be profitable, we might see more original Xbox games coming very soon.

According to Code Mystics, the development team responsible for porting over Phantom Dust, they tweeted out on their official Twitter account looking for feedback on the next original Xbox game they should port over to the Xbox One.

So which OG Xbox title should we ask Microsoft for the chance to work on next? 🙂

For those of you out there that are fans of Blinx the Time Sweeper, this might be a golden opportunity to bring back the anthropomorphic cat that can manipulate time. Or perhaps they can bring back Mech Assault with online multiplayer support..?

The tweet made out by the development team shows enthusiasm that they would like to revive another old Microsoft IP, and since Code Mystics is in charge of backward compatibility on Microsoft’s eighth-generation console, I would not be surprised if Microsoft assigns another studio to work on porting over Xbox original games.

Perhaps this might be a chance for Microsoft to see a boom in first-party exclusives. With the impending release of the highly-anticipated Project Scorpio, this just might be the right move Microsoft needs to make right now.
