Google revealed its new lineup at its fall event, including the Pixel 7, Pixel Watch, and a teaser for 2023’s Pixel Tablet.

Google typically launches its new phones in the fall of every year. The press event is near the beginning of October, and the phone comes out about a week later.

But what about the Pixel 7? Did Google follow the same release pattern as previous flagships, or was something different this year? Let’s dive in.

When did the Google Pixel 7 come out?

Short answer: October 13.

It is now official. Google announced the Pixel 7 on October 6, and preorders started on the same day. And, as it has done in the past, Google released the phone a week later, on October 13.

The new Pixel 7 was released with several improvements over the Pixel 6. It features an all-day battery and a display that can go up to 25 percent brighter.

It also came with several new camera features like photo unblur, cinematic blur, and ultrawide selfies using the front camera.

The rear camera bar has a 50-megapixel primary camera alongside an additional 12-megapixel ultrawide camera.

The Pixel 7 starts at just $599 (Google | Best Buy), an extremely attractive price compared to other flagship smartphones today.
